It’s been a long time since Studio 54 opened its doors 14 years ago, but nothing lasts forever. The way nightclubs age (dog years), nothing usually even lasts a decade. Feb. 4 was the last hurrah for the old dame, and it was up to LL Cool J to make it work. LL Cool J, who, by the by, was closer to “Mama Said Knock You Out” than NCIS when 54 first opened.
