In our day, beer was for winners. And we waited until after the race. But for the softies at the Dec. 4 Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon, it was all about instant gratification.
Of course, considering the crush of bodies the 44,000 racers endured as they made their way down the gleaming streets, a little roadside libation was not only deserved but downright necessary.
