Seeing as how Apple unloaded 4 million of the new iPhone 4S model over the weekend, it’s fair to say demand was running high. Demand brings all those messy lines with the people and the waiting. Apparently The Situation didn’t want to deal—and that’s when he felt the wrath of Apple. Twitter user Laurenn McCubbin put him on blast: “One of my former Apple compatriots just kicked The Situation out of an Apple store for trying to cut in line for a 4S. HE IS MY HERO.” Read more »

Unless you live in a cave with poor Internet service, you know that Apple gave case makers a very big gift in the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4’s antenna wraps around the outside of the phone, so if you touch it in the wrong spot, the signal weakens significantly. Admitting the problem, Apple is providing iPhone 4 buyers a free “bumper” to wrap the phone. Problem solved! Read more »

“You want to know one of the dirty secrets of modern life?” said an Apple store employee. “People shoot endless amounts of footage on their fancy video cameras and then they never bother to edit one minute of it. Why? Because it’s too hard.” It was a recent Thursday morning, and the staff member—let’s call him “Bob”—who had a round face reminiscent of King of Queens actor Kevin James, was standing in the spacious auditorium on the second floor of the Apple store in Soho, delivering a tutorial on iMovie, the Apple video-editing software.
